Get ready to strengthen your math skills and build confidence before entering Algebra I! This math-focused camp is designed for middle school honors track students and those entering high school Algebra I. Students will either revisit or be introduced to fundamental Algebraic concepts through vocabulary development, practice, and practical application. We will explore solving equations and inequalities, working with variables and expressions, graphing linear equations, graphing slope and intercepts, and factoring and simplifying expressions. With small group instruction and engaging hands-on activities, you are certain to elevate your math abilities.
Whether you need to refresh your knowledge or fill in any gaps, you can expect to get a jump start on math for the upcoming year as you gain support in key algebraic concepts.
